Northwest excavator/crane/shovel mdl. 41 "NO RESERVE SALE" Thruway sale# 10-014 surplus file# 09-40-0080E
Being sold is a 1967 Northwest excavator-model 41. It is powered by a Murphy 4-cylinder diesel engine. Operating hours: approx. 5396. The last time it was in operation was approximately two years ago. The body is rusted, windows broken and we are unsure as to the condition of the hydraulics.
The equipment is located at the NYS Canal Corportation's Lockport Canal location, Buffalo Division, 2 Mill Street, Lockport, N.Y. 10494. Pickup must be made from that location!

Note: If this equipment is being purchased for its scrap value, dismantling on-site will be permitted! If however this is the option, prior to commencing work you will be required to supply all the insurances listed below in the amounts required. We will afford the buyer at least 60 days to have the equipment cut and removed. Any longer than that, the buyer will risk forfeiture, with no financial compensation to the buyer, so timely removal is a must!

Insurances/Permits:
The awarded recipient will be responsible for supplying the following insurance coverage:
Worker's Compensations Insurance: required in N.Y.S.
General Liability & Property Damage: the coverage must be single limit per occurrence for combined property damage and/or bodily injury, including death, in the amount of $2,000,000
Owner's Protective Liability Insurance: minimum amount not less than $1,000,000 bodily injury and $500,000/$1,000,000 aggregate property damage, with the NYS Thruway Authority and the NYS Canal Corporation named as the insured party.
Automotive Liability Insurance: minimum amount not less than $1,000,000 combined single limit
These insurances must be supplied at the time of payment!
