Knuckle Boom Cranes
A Knuckle Boom Crane, or Loader Crane, is a multi-jointed hydraulic crane that sits atop a truck and loads material onto and off of the truck. One or more of the sections of the crane may be telescopic, allowing for further extension, and perhaps most conveniently, the entire crane can generally unload or stow itself without the operator's control, making this an incredibly simple piece of equipment to use.
Because the crane operator must move around the vehicle to observe the crane, most Knuckle Boom Cranes come with a portable control system, either via cables or radio. These cranes are both affordable and easy to use, making them perfect for transporting heavy objects.
