This auction is for a used backyard digger derrick with a hydraulic auger and a knuckleboom crane for installing utility poles. It would also be great to have for a fence building company or anyone needing to dig holes or pick up heavy things in areas hard to reach. This came from a electric company that used it to build and maintain electric lines in congested areas where a normal truck could not go.It is in excellent condition and is ready to be used. The trailer that is shown in the photos is included in the auction. There is a plate on the unit that reads that it was made by the Reedrill company and it is a model 1100G with a serial number of 1100669.I do not know what year it was made, but sometime in the last few years it was totally remanufactured by the factory and it is in excellent condition. They installed new tires on the unit and also on the trailer. It was completely gone over and everything is in good working condition. The machine is only 32 inches wide and is designed to go through a narrow gate into a backyard if you need to. It is hydrauliclly driven and is four wheel drive. I was surprised at how great it drives around. It is not top heavy like a lot of these units are. It all stows and folds up into a very small package for getting into tight areas. There are several levers and things that are used to operate it. They are as follows:Main drive lever - up and down is forwards and back, right and left is to steer itFour control levers: 1. Winch in and out / auger dig and reverse 2. Rotate boom right and left 3. Lower boom up and down 4. Upper boom up and down / boom stow and unstowDials and gauges: 1. Pressure gauge 2. Hydraulic oil flow meter 3. Dial to set desired pressure 4. Dial to set hydraulic flow gpm.Three function hydraulic valve, switches between the following: 1. Boom controls 2. Travel control 3. Hydraulic toolsThe boom is mounted on the front of the unit and you drive it with the joystick from the rear. The engine is also located in a housing in the back under the controls. All the controls work great and the machine is good and responsive with no leaks. The engine is a single cylinder gas engine. I do not know what brand it is, but it is large for a single cylinder and has plenty of power. I think it is a Wisconsin, but I do not know for sure. It starts on the first turn of the key and runs great. There is a locking throttle control on the dash to set the engine speed. There is an hour meter on the dash that reads 592 hours and it works like it should. From the condition of the unit, I bet they are correct. It is a very clean machine and has not been abused or used much. The boom folds up small as you can see in the photos. But it is also designed to fold up for storage higher in the air so that you can use the flat part of the machine between the boom and the rear controls to carry a transformer or other heavy items on the flatbed area. The machine has four outriggers that swing out and lock in place. They work good. The machine has a winch mounted on the upper boom that works great. The machine also has a hydraulic driven auger that is used to dig post holes. It stores on the front of the machine in a special bracket. There is also a three foot long auger extension there as well. There is a third hole on the bracket to hold the actual auger that does the digging. I did not get it with the machine. It uses a 2 5/8 round shaft auger, which I think is the same size that my Danuser digger for my skidloader uses. It would be easy to get a auger for it. You also can unpin the bracket and remove it if you do not want to use the auger and related items. The winch and auger have flat face quick couplers on their lines so that you can switch back and forth easily. The machine has a set of hydraulic outlets on the front to allow you to use it to power attachments. I have seen these used to run a Fairmont hydraulic tamper, post pullers, and other utility tools. You can use this to run about any hydraulic tool that you can plug into it. It has the dials to allow you to set the pressure and flow you need for different tools. The trailer is in great shape. It has four new tires, and is all steel in construction - no wood floor to rot! It is a tilt bed trailer and is designed to haul the unit around. It has four tie down straps on the corners to hold it for travel. There is a nice big tool box on the front of the trailer where you can store parts and things. I did not get a title with the trailer. You will not get one from me either! But I did find a form in the tool box that reads that the trailer was built in 1998. It has a pintle type hitch, safety chains and a light hookup. I do not have a truck with that type of light plug to enable me to test the lights, but they look complete and in good order. This is an excellent used backyard machine. You are welcome to come try it out before the auction ends. It works and runs great. The owners manuals shown in the photos are included to the winning bidder. The machine will have a few more hours on it by the end of the auction as I am using it here on the farm to run some hydraulic tools.I have a local trucking company that I highly recommend that you call if you need a quote on having larger items like machinery and large trucks hauled to you. They are DAB Transport and their phone number is: (816)230-4135. They are located in Odessa, Missouri, and are just all around good folks to deal with. They are equiped to deal with about anything you need hauled, including tall bucket trucks and heavy machinery.
I am located 100 miles West of the St. Louis airport, 10 miles off Interstate 70 at the Kingdom City exit #148 in Fulton, Mo, 65251. If you buy a vehicle from me and want to drive it home, there is a nice shuttle service that runs between the Kansas City (KCI) airport and the St. Louis (STL) airport. It is called: MO-X. They make a stop at my exit on I-70 at a McDonalds restaurant to pick up and drop off passengers. I can meet you in Kingdom City with your vehicle purchase so you can drive it home. There is also a local liscense bureau where you can buy a one way trip permit temporary tag if you want one.
PAYMENT AND
AUCTION REQUIREMENTSDo not ask me
to sell it early, or take less than the starting price. I will not end the
auction for a local sale either. I can load it onto anything that you send to
pick it up. Delivery for an additional fee is a possibility within 250 miles of
Fulton, Mo, 65251. E-mail me for a quote. I have a neighbor kid that helps me on
the farm that will deliver stuff sometimes. I require payment in full within one
week of auctions end. Once it is paid for, there is no hurry for you to pick it
up - take six months if need be! If you don't come get it after six months have
passed since the end of the auction, it will be resold, and my wife gets the
proceeds. If you have a legitimate reason why you need to wait longer than six
months to pick up your purchase, contact me and we will work something out. If
you have any questions, you can e-mail or call me at (573) 219-6611. Thanks for
looking and please check out my other auctions!
LOCAL PICK
UPI am a cattle farmer here in Mid-Missouri, so I am flexible about
when you want to come and get items you have purchased from me, but I try and
keep a schedule for my families benefit. I ask that you come between 9:00 in the
morning and 4:00 at night. I am not available on Sundays whatsoever - that is
God and family day, so don't ask! Just because I am a farmer does not mean that
I am here everyday, I travel around to auctions and surplus sales and am gone
several times a week. So don't do like some folks have in the past and drive 800
miles to get here and find out I am gone. You must contact me before you just
show up! My granny always said that showing up unannounced was rude - you have
to give people notice so they can get
presentable.
CONTACT
MEIf you have
any questions about this item, or about delivery or shipping, you can call me or
email me. Don't be shy! The only stupid question is the one you are afraid to
ask. I prefer email as it lets me answer questions at night when I am not busy
and it gives me time to find the right answer to your questions. I also run
tractors and skid loaders here on the farm and a lot of times I do not hear my
phone. I also live in a rural area and in a lot of places I do not get phone
service. One of the places I do not get good coverage is in my shop! So if you
can't get me on the phone, try back later or better yet, send me an email and I
will get back with you. You
can send me an email through ebay or you can send it to me directly to: olivet@ktis.netMy cell phone number is: (573)219-6611
